I got a bad review about the cleanliness of my house. What should I do?

One of my guests complained online that my vacation rental was dirty. How should I respond?

Clean housekeeping is one of the most important aspects of this business, especially because travelers' memories are often based off of sights and smells. If you've received a bad review regarding your house's cleanliness, respond quickly, but calmly. Address the issue: clearly there's something they didn't like about your rental home. Customers appreciate feedback when you listened to what they say, so take it into account and fix the issue. Worse than receiving one bad review about a dirty property is receiving three.
